Title: What Happened Here? What is the succession of events in Primary and Secondary Succession?
Author: Judy Thibodeaux
Description: This game introduces the player to the various steps in succession of the introduction of soils, plant life and animal life into an area that has previously been devoid of these.

SCOS Goals: 3.07 Assess the uses of technology and information systems in monitoring lithospheric phenomenon.

Title: Invicta the Invader
Author: Kathy Smyre
Description: Want to have some fun while learning about the ecological and economic impact of the invasive species Solenopsis invicta, commonly known as the imported red fire ant? Then follow the trail of Invicta as it spreads through the region surrounding the imaginary coastal town of Tidal Flats, LA. Find the stolen golden orbs and discover how a non-native species can wreak havoc on an ecosystem.

SCOS Goals: 1.05 Analyze evidence to: Explain observations; Make inferences and predictions. 1.09 Use technologies and information systems to:
Research. (As students use game-imbedded web resources to find information to answer questions); Disseminate findings to others (Students will do this via the multiplayer and chat functions of the game); 7.03 Explain how changes in habitat may affect organisms; 7.05 Examine evidence that overpopulation by any species impacts the environment.

Title: Keep Your Cool and Resolve Your Conflicts
Author: Reagan Courliss
Description: In this game, players will attend classes on a virtual campus. As they interact with friends and classmates, they will learn strategies to manage anger and resolve conflicts. They will take a quiz in each class to test their knowledge of these new strategies and earn “grades” along the way.

Title: Mission to Mars

Description: The year is 2030 and Earth has been stretched to its limit. It can no longer support the human population. NASA has established a base on the moon. The next step is Mars. However, the base on Mars has not done well at all. You have been sent there to help establish and develop a base on Mars that will support plants and eventually humans.

SCOS: Grade 6-5.02, 5.04, 5.06, 4.01, 4.04, 3.04,3.05,1.03,1.06, 1.09, 2.02, 2.03

Title: Nrubau Nepticious
Author: Shanna Swann Roberts
Description: On the planet Nrubau, a vicious disease called Nepticious is affecting life as the citizens know it! Only you can save the planet. By being able to "sort" and "filter" you can restore harmony to the Regits who live on the planet. Collect 5 elgaes (the currency on Nrubau) and you can save the planet.

Title: Find Your Way Home
Author: Cynthia Wicker
Description: Character is stranded on Mars. The path to the ship that will take him home is too hot to walk upon. There are shapes along the path that will form a safe route to the ship. The only way to get the shapes in place is provide the perimeter, circumference or area of the shape. Miss a problem and your path disappears and you must begin again.

Title: Dr. FH and his quest for the meaning of percent
Author: Wendi Wicker
Description: Professor Farvely-Helder is desparately searching for money! In order to receive compensation he so needs, he must answer questions correctly. He will need to find the crystal balls scattered throughout the desert. These balls will hold questions related to tax, tip, discount, sale price, and general percents. Each question answered correctly will lead Professor FH closer to the prize!
