Welcome to the Joel Lane Museum House page for teachers.  This page contains lesson plans designed for middle school students to enrich their learning experiences at the Joel Lane House.  These plans were developed with the goal of curriculum integration in mind, and each plan addresses many different academic subjects and competency goals outlined for middle school students by the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.  These lessons use fun, hands-on activities that you can implement before, during, and after your visit (whether actual or virtual) to the Joel Lane Museum House.
